Iran’s Alamian defeated his French rival 4-2 on Saturday and won the title of the singles matches. A total of 80 men and 64 women players took part in the singles events.
Iran table tennis team consists of Afshin Noruzi and Noshad Alamian had already won a silver medal in the tournament.
Iran traveled to Austria to hold a training camp in preparations for the World Table Tennis Championships which will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands from May 8 to 15.
